About

Why Punch Charlie Exists

Punch Charlie is a time tracking tool for small local businesses — not a payroll platform, not a project manager, not another bloated HR suite.

The Problem

Most time trackers charge per employee, bundle features shops never use, and expect every hourly worker to create an account and install an app. For a café, salon, or retail counter, that's friction your team won't tolerate — and pricing that punishes you for growing.

What We Built Instead

A shared PIN kiosk that runs in any browser — tablet at the counter, desktop in the office, or a shop computer. An owner dashboard for who's on shift and weekly hours per employee. Clean timesheet exports when you're ready for payroll. Use it on any phone or laptop too — no app store, just add to your home screen. One flat monthly price for the whole team.

Who Built It

Punch Charlie is designed, built, and supported by a solo developer — Jarvis Dufour. After many years in banking technology and delivery across enterprise projects, I wanted a tool that did one job well for the small businesses I kept seeing struggle with overpriced, overcomplicated software.

How We Operate

No sales team. No enterprise upsell path. No feature bloat to justify per-seat pricing. Just honest time tracking on infrastructure I trust with my own customers' data — including Cloudflare's global network for the app itself.
